We’ve all heard the cliche’, “It’s a small world.” But in Orthodoxy, it’s especially true. We are not saved alone but we are saved together. Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church supports a variety of different Orthodox Christian mediums. Below you can find links to Orthodox blogs, music, jurisdictional sites and other cyber-space connections.

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia began during the tumultuous years of the communist revolution in Russia. Certain Russian Orthodox bishops fled and sought refuge in free countries including America. A group of monks settled in Jordanville, New York and built a monastery dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The monastery flourished. Capitalizing on it’s newly-found freedom, the monks were able to maintain their Russian Orthodox traditions. Eventually, the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia reunited with the Moscow Patriarchate Church inside of Russia on May 17, 2007. It was a glorious event.
